Yerkir daily writes that according to its sources close to the RPA the number of people not wanting Silva Hambardzumyan has increased. The paper says that is the reason why the RPA is not orienting how to respond to the hint of the businesswoman to become member of their party. The paper says Silva Hambardzumyan has also appeared in uncertain situation: though she stated that she will publicize her decision on February 10 but being surprised with the behavior of the RPA remains silent. The paper says though common RPA members do not like Silva Hambardzumyan, they understand that the money of the businesswoman in the pre-electoral period will not harm them. The paper says it is not even excluded that Silva Hambardzumyan will refuse to enter the RPA but work for the party under cover. The paper says according to other talks, she may enter another party…

The daily Zhoghovurd writes according to well-informed sources the membership of former foreign minister of Armenia Vartan Oskanian to the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) has been initially discussed and agreed with President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan. Moreover he had serious discussions in Moscow connected with the issue. Zhoghovurd says only after getting the consent of the both parties Tsarukyan accepted Oskanian and moreover wants to make him number 2 in the proportional list of the party. Speaking to the paper, spokesman for Tsarukyan Khachik Galstyan shrugged off the news, saying such issues are being discussed in the political council of the party headed by Tsarukyan, “other talks are senseless”.

The daily Yerkir also writes that the issue of including Vazgen Manukyan in the list of the RPA is rather complicated and is still being discussed. The paper says it has learnt that the ruling coalition has closed the issue of including him in the list. The paper says moreover, it has learnt that Manukyan will not participate in the coming parliamentary elections. The paper says more probably he did not like the scenario offered by the RPA or the RPA has not considered Manukyan a good player.
