Armenian delegates to observe elections in Russia

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 21, ARMENPRESS: Central Electoral Commission will observe the presidential elections in the Russian Federation scheduled for March 4. Spokesperson for the chairman of the CEC Hermine Harutyunyan told Armenpress the Commission has received an invitation to implement observing mission at the presidential elections in Russia.

"The delegation will comprise of the Chairman of the CEC Tigran Mukuchyan and head of the computer services and analysis department of the CEC Yelena Ayvazyan," Hermine Harutyunyan said.

The CIS inter-parliamentary assembly's observing group comprises of representatives of the Armenian parliament as well – NA deputy speaker Eduard Sharmazanov and MP Gagik Melikyan. They will conduct the observing mission in St. Petersburg and Moscow respectively.
