The daily Hraparak writes that the ANC has seemed to have decided who will be nominated in the majority election constituencies. The paper says a decision has been made that in each constituency the ANC will nominate head of a headquarter of the mentioned constituency. The paper says some representatives of the ANC central office will become heads of Yerevan constituencies and will be nominated in these constituencies.
The daily Hraparak writes member of the Republican Party of Armenia Menua Harutyunyan has decided to become the “anti-hero” of our days. The paper says his statement in defense of Vova Gasparyan who arrested journalist Hayk Gevorgyan and the statement against ecologists who in his opinion “are trying to justify the grants they have received” have shaken the internet-society. The paper says as to the actors and representatives of show-business who tried to support the strugglers for the Mashtots park, Menua said “the harm they have given to the country, our children, and the coming generations is more than cutting of two trees. I have an impression that very often immoral people speak about morality.”
The daily Zhoghovurd writes according to its well-aware sources the newly opened consulate general of Armenia in Odessa will be headed by Georgi Muradyan, the former aide to NA former chairman. The latter though speaking to the daily said he heard about it only from press. “I have not received such offer,” Muradyan stated. The paper claims its sources insist the opposite, he has not only received such offer but gave his initial consent. Moreover, according to it, the consulate in Odessa has opened for ensuring Georgi Muradyan with job. The sources of the daily claim Hovik Abrahamyan has personally mediated for it.
