The daily Zhoghovurd writes it has learnt about gathering of leaders of force structures that took place at presidential residence past Saturday. The paper says the meeting lasted for about 2.5 hours and during it Serzh Sargsyan was presented analyses relating to the domestic political situation. Besides, the paper continues, with the assignment of the authorities closed polls are being conducted to find out who has influence inside the country, how much and on what circles. The daily wrote that the participants of the gathering also referred to the coming parliamentary elections, saying that it is necessary to exclude the clashes between RPA-PAP and other candidates especially in majority elections system. The paper says Serzh Sargsyan instructed the law enforces to work out corresponding mechanisms for preventing it.
The daily Zhamanak writes chairman of the state-legal affairs standing committee of the National Assembly Davit Harutyunyan stated that former head of President’s staff Karen Karapetyan continues being member of the RPA. The paper says in response to the question whether the party will support Karapeyan in his nomination in Tashir in majority election system, Harutyunyan said after the party makes decision over it the public will learn about it. The paper says according to him, as of the moment no concrete decision has been made.

The paper says before the group starts its work, “Tashir” benevolent foundation has intensified its activity releasing everyday statements about the implemented assistance programs. The paper says the press releases particularly mention that the geography of the assistance of foundation expanded reaching Artsakh and Javakhq. The paper says another thing that makes think about intensification of Karapetyan’s activity is his frequent visits to Russia, where he, the paper claims, meets with representatives of political elite.
The daily Yerkir writes according to the information it has Vardan Ayvazyan has been persuaded by the RPA not to nominate his candidacy in a majority system and more probably he will continue his activity in the government. The paper says the work in the executive power inspires the current MP more.
The daily Haykakan Zhamanak writes according to its sources head of staff of the NA Gegham Gharibjanyan whose holiday ends February 10 told the daily he will not return to NA any more. The paper says it has learnt that he will be appointed Armenia’s ambassador to United Arab Emirates. The paper says it failed to confirm the information and reminded that the incumbent Armenia’s ambassador to UAE is Vahagn Melikyan.
