The daily Aravot has referred to the congratulatory speech of Defense Minister of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan addressed to the relatives of the soldiers killed or missed during the 20 years of the Armenian Armed Forces on the occasion of the Army Day Defense.
"20 years ago Armenia people were destined to shape a heroic history and mark the beginning of Artsakh liberation fighting and Armenia's independence. Thanks to all-national sacrifices, devotion and efforts, today – after 20 years, we can state that the fighting has been crowned with success. Today Artsakh is liberated, the population – defended and Armenia – a free state, which is developing though slowly but with solid steps," said the Minister.
Once aging congratulating the parents of the soldiers on 20th anniversary of formation of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Seyran Ohanyan promised to develop the achievements gained at the price of their hero sons, fathers and brothers conveying their dream state to the next generations, Aravot writes.
The daily Aravot writes citing "Trend" that the Temporary Committee on Nagorno Karabkah issue may be suspended according to PACE President Jean-Claude Mignon.
"Discussion was held Friday in the bureau and we decided that the commission will not resume the works in near future. We need time to discuss this issue comprehensively," said the PACE President.
