The daily Azg writes no matter that Turkey and Azerbaijani are considered to be two states of one nation, they also face disputes. For example, in contrast to Ankara’s constant claims Azerbaijan refuses to apply visa regime toward Turkish citizens. Whereas Turkey omitted that regime between the two countries long ago.

Azg, repeatedly referring to Turkish-Azerbaijani disputes, which are growing to conflicts from time to time, writes that “One nation, two states” motto of Azerbaijan and Turkey works only when the Armenians and Armenia become the subject of issue.

The same is now. In its yesterday’s issue “Yeni Shafack” published “Where were you, Azeri brother” article, which has been reformulated into “One nation, two states and pro-French Alyev” in the internet version of the Turkish newspaper.

The occasion of writing such an article is the passing of the bill penalizing denial of Armenian Genocide at the French National Assembly. For neglecting the fact “Yeni Shafack” rebukes Azerbaijan, and Turkish political figures join the Turkish newspaper in it.

The daily Azg writes that a number of NGOs and civil initiatives addressed yesterday a letter to Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan demanding to stop the construction started in the Closed Market of Mashtots Avenue. In the letter they remind that the structure is in the monuments preservation list. The authors of the letter demand that the project is brought up for thorough discussion at the urban development council of Yerevan municipality.

The daily Hayastani Hanrapetutyun has referred to the first annual meeting of the State Revenue Committee with big taxpayers. The Tax Inspectorate for Big Taxpayers has ensured nearly 60% of tax incomes in 2011, compared to the 54.5% last year.

One of the main directions of the Committee's activities in 2012 will continue to be the individual approach to big tax payers, which in turn assumes the strengthening of control and the increase in the level of quality of service.

The Committee has also increased the number of businesses that meet the standards for the selection of large taxpayers. If, for instance, the taxing inspectorate for large taxpayers registered only 344 organizations in 2010 and 440 in 2011, in 2012, the inspectorate will serve 462 businesses.

Attaching importance to the activities with large taxpayers, Deputy Head of the State Revenue Committee Armen Alaverdyan emphasized that the major part of the additional 101 billion drams for taxes and mandatory social payments in the 2012 state budget had to be provided at the price of large tax payers, not small and medium businesses.

"The State Revenue Committee won't have any problems with large taxpayers that will work based on the circulation of documents, will deliver and register with adequate papers and won't have circulation that isn't taxed. However, the SRC will make purchases for control purposes, will take measures, register items and appoint taxing representatives for those taxpayers who don't abide by the law," he said.

In 2012, the SRC will place special emphasis on the large taxpayers' activities aimed at eliminating shady circulation. The large taxpayers must work through the circulation of documents.
