The Yerkir daily writes it has learnt who will deal with pre-electoral propaganda of the three coalition parties. The paper writes in the Rule of Law party the responsibility has been burdened on vice chairman of the party Mher Shahgeldyan who was heading the electoral headquarters of the party during the previous elections as well. The paper says in the Prosperous Armenia Party the responsible for the pre-electoral campaign is MP Naira Zohrabyan, previously a reporter. Speaking to the daily, she said she will coordinate the work with reporters and meetings with international observers. The paper continues that in the RPA the propaganda wheel will be in the hands of deputy head of the RPA election headquarters Mikayel Minasyan, but it is not excluded that a person will be appointed to help him in minor issues.
The Yerkir daily also writes that the number of “helpers” of the former National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan is growing. The paper says it has learnt that Deputy Prime Minister and Territorial Administration Minister Armen Gevorgyan and Chairman of the State and Legal Affairs Standing Committee of the NA David Harutyunyan will soon be officially appointed deputy heads of RPA election headquarters. The paper reminds in autumn of the past year, Mikayel Minasyan left the office of the First Deputy Chief of the Staff of Armenia’s President to become deputy head of RPA headquarters.
The daily Haykakan Zhamanak writes that according to eyewitnesses head of the Prosperous Armenia Party Gagik Tsarukyan and his in-law , head of RPA election headquarters Hovik Abrahamyan were seen at the entrance of one of the most luxurious casinos in Monaco, on the New Year eve. The paper writes it asked about it to spokesman of Tsarukyan Khachik Galstyan who said: “Gagik Tsarukyan left for New Year holiday with his family and I have no other information connected with this question,” the paper quoted him as saying.
