Election headquarters of the PAP to be headed by Urban Development Minister, Yerkir says

The daily Yerkir writes it has learnt that the election headquarters of the Prosperous Armenia Party will be headed by Urban Development Minister Vardan Vardanyan who headed the election headquarters of that party during the previous elections as well. The paper says it seems the party was pleased with the activity of Vardanyan and does not see more convenient candidate to replace him. The paper says like other parties, the PAP as well will appoint coordinators in certain provinces, but this, of course, will be an internal decision.
The daily Hraparak writes though head of staff of the NA Gegham Gharibjanynan has gone on vacation he will not return back to his office. The paper says it has learnt that Gharibjanyan will be appointed Armenia's ambassador to United Arab Emirates replacing Vahagn Melikyan who is ending his mission there.
The daily Zhoghovurd writes the whole world is getting prepared for the international economic forum in Davos scheduled for January 25-29. The paper says President of Azerbaijan has already stated about his participation, President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili is traditionally partaking in the forum too. The daily tried to find out whether Armenia's President is going to participate in the forum or not but his spokesman said the information about visits and meetings of the President is provided on appropriate time. The daily says spokesman of Prime Minister said as of today there is no information about the visit of Prime Minister to Davos. The paper concludes that more probably this year as well Armenia will not be represented in the economic forum.
