The daily Hraparak writes two days ago the Supreme body of the ARF organized a fourchette on the occasion of New Year and 121st anniversary of the ARF and invited representatives of all the political forces. Though the press was writing that no one from the Prosperous Armenia Party was present, it was found out that Gagik Tsarukyan and Hovhannes Kushkyan though late but joined the event and stayed for quite long. The paper says representatives of almost all the political forces accepted the invitation. From the Armenian National Congress present were Stepan Demirtchyan and Aram Manukyan.
The daily Hayots Ashkhar writes that speaking to the daily MP from the Republican Party of Armenia Artak Zakaryan said that the thing is that Turkey is conducting a skid-like foreign policy and instead of solving the problem with the neighbors or other states, it is deepening the problem.
‘“Consequently, the external political attempts toward restraining Turkey will continue in future, too. If until recently some European states were accepting that Turkey could be considered a part of Europe and become a European Union member, now they insist that Turkey is an Asia Minor country with huge problems. The world is reminding Turkey that although its services are important for large powers, they will not allow Turkey to turn its role into a weapon and direct it against those that are cooperating with it on mutually beneficial basis,” the paper quoted him as saying.
The semi-weekly 168 writes that according to the information at its disposal, head of the President’s control service Hovhannes Hovsepyan is not going to work for already a week. The paper reminds days ago the RA prosecutor general office’s state interests’ protection department opened a criminal case against director of “Gapbnakshin” company Gagik Papoyan on swindling. The paper says during 2004-2011 they robbed big sums of money from the citizens and several times sold the apartments in the elite buildings built by them to different persons. The paper says part of the citizens applied to the staff of the President Serzh Sargsyan, but the letters addressed to him were given another procedure by the head of the control service Hovhannes Hovsepyan who is called to study, check and report to the RA President and make suggestions. By the way it is said that officials from the President’s staff are engaged in the affair as well and in coming days Hovik Hovsepyan will be relieved of his duties. The same source said that Serzh Sargsyan is very frustrated because of the matter and tasked to quickly solve the issue and reveal all the guilty.
