The daily Haykakan Zhamanak writes that recently the talks about the coming resignation of the director of the National Security Service Gorik Hakobyan have intensified again. The paper says its sources insist that Serzh Sargsyan is really discussing the resignation.
The paper says according to experts, these discussions are connected with the circumstance that because of age and health condition at a decisive moment Gorik Hakobyan will not be able to give equivalent response to the situation. The paper says the possible successor of Gorik Hakobyan is considered brother of Chairman of the Constitutional Court Arzuman Harutyunyan.
The daily Zhoghovurd writes that according to the information it has tax officers are carrying out a 24-hour long supervision at the enterprises belonging to MP Samvel Alexanyan. The paper says even the political circles tie it with “political echo” of his holiday in Dubai. The paper says in response to the question why tax officers are supervising them, an official from Alex Grig company said there is nothing strange in it. “After legislative changes tax officers are carrying everyday supervision in big enterprises,” the official told the daily. The paper says it is spoken about the legislative change after which “tax agents” were applied in companies. The daily reminds that the parliamentarians actively fought against the adoption of this legislative initiative, but in vain.
The daily also writes its sources close to the residence of the RA President informed that the agreement on the mixed coalition list is reaching the final phase. Moreover, says the daily, negotiations continue over clarifications over their proportional representation (nothing is yet being spoken about the Rule of Law party). The paper says it has also learnt that the RPA and PAP agreed to reduce the number of businessmen to a minimum in their split ticket. The coalition forces proposed that the businessmen run for Parliament in single-member constituencies.
The daily Hayots Ashkhar writes that drug-addicts without any restrictions may pass to work at strategic institutions. The paper says they have received such an opportunity by the decision adopted yesterday at the cabinet sitting. The paper says the decision offers to abolish the provision of the law which restricts the working activity of drug-addicts in certain strategically important institutions, like for instance atomic plant, water supply systems. The paper says according to specialists, drug-addicts, being in inadequate conditions and not controlling their behavior and not realizing the consequences of their deeds, may become reason of troubles in the work of the systems, cause disasters.
