Conflicts in the region should be solved through negotiations: President Sargsyan

The conflicts in the region should be solved only through peaceful negotiations, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan stated at the joint press conference with his Georgian counterpart Mikhail Saakashvili, Armenpress reports, citing "Gruzia online".

"We must conduct negotiations and reach the settlement of the conflict through this way as we are called to ensure the security of our peoples," Serzh Sargsyan stressed.

He also urged to undertake "concrete steps" for ensuring security in the region. "I think only through negotiations we can reduce the tension in the region and it will contribute to our further development," Sargsyan said.
