The daily Haykakan Zhamanak writes that representatives of the Prosperous Armenia Party have sharply refused to comment on the news that they are going to run for oncoming parliamentary elections in a united list with the Republican Party of Armenia and Rule of Law Party. The paper says its sources claim that the decision has already been made, and Gagik Tsarukyan has agreed to become the third in the united list which will be topped by President Serzh Sargsyan. The paper says the second in the list will be Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. According to the ruling circles, though Tsarukyan has given an initial consent to this variant the issue has not been completely solved yet. The leader of the PAP wants to be the second in the list. The paper says as to Arthur Baghdasaryan he is not expected to appear in the list as he seeks to be appointed RA prosecutor general before the elections.

The same daily claims it has learnt that at one of the recent sittings of the RPA Board Serzh Sargsyan stated that he is not going to “sacrifice” governor of the Syunik region Surik Khachatryan “for a woman”. The paper says this expression shocked some and particularly member of the board, former mayor of Yerevan Gagik Beglaryan. The paper says in a narrow circle he expressed discontent that how it happened that he was sacrificed for hitting a boy in a car but for publicly assaulting a woman the governor would not be sacrificed. The paper reminds that Gagik Beglaryan resigned from the office of the mayor of Yerevan with the demand of the President for beating Aram Kandayan, employee of the President’s Protocol service. The paper says well aware sources claim that after the above mentioned conversation Beglaryan decided not to participate in the RPA electoral campaign and some claim, that he accepted the invitation of Gagik Tsarukyan to participate in his birthday party in Dubai.

The daily Hraparak claims that after the appointment of Vova Gasparyan as chief of the police, employees of the military police have started writing applications for being transferred to the police. The paper says the number of those who wish so gradually grows. The paper claims that Seiran Ohanyan has become angry of the fact and has not signed about 20 applications.

The daily Zhoghovurd writes that Rule of Law Party is doing everything to receive media coverage. The daily says the party has made an internal decision that RLP ministers undertake daily public steps to appear in media coverage, and show that they are working actively.

The paper claims that it is not a coincidence that the party ministers have recently begun receiving foreign officials, or are periodically holding press conferences. And RLP parliamentarians were instructed to take the floor, specifically concerning important bills. The election campaign is approaching.
