The daily Haykakan Zhamanak writes that it has learnt that two days ago head of the Republican Party of Armenia, President Serzh Sargsyan and leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party Gagik Tsarukyan reached an agreement on participation in the forthcoming parliamentary elections with a united list. The paper says it has not succeeded to get official comment from the Prosperous Armenia Party. Speaking to the daily, member of the RPA Hovhannes Sahakyan said it is not excluded. "Your information may be correct but the issue has not been discussed at the sitting of the RPA Council". The daily says according to Sahakyan, the possibility of participation of the coalition forces together cannot be excluded until a decision is made that the coalition parties participate separately.

The paper also writes that businesswoman Silva Hambardzumyan, recently physically assaulted by the governor of Syunik province Surik Khachatryan, has not excluded nomination of her candidacy in Syunik province at the coming parliamentary elections. "I still have time to think. I will state about it in a month," the paper cited her as saying. At 2007 parliamentary elections brother of RA President Sashik Sargsyan became member of parliament from Syunik province. The paper says this time Serzh Sargsyan will not allow his brother to nominate his candidacy. The paper also says that governor of Syunik may also forward his candidacy.
