The semi-weekly 168 Zham writes that according to well-informed sources the row of resignations interrupted these days will continue and they will be presented in a new light. The paper says particularly during these days it is spoken about the resignation of the leader of the Orinats Yerkir party Arthur Baghdasaryan from the office of the Secretary of the National Security Council. The paper says it will be like resignation of NA Chairman Hovik Abrahamyan, in the sense that Baghdasaryan will state that he will leave the office to coordinate the works of the pre-electoral headquarter of his party. The paper writes that leaving the office Baghdasaryan will try to play a role of opposition and if with some miracle he manages to do it his party will participate in the elections separately. If no, continues the daily, which is more probable, the Orinats Yerkir party will get 2-3 places in the RPA list and Baghdasaryan may become for instance assistant to the deputy head of the RPA pre-electoral headquarter.

The same semi-weekly writes that according to the information it has, former chairman of the NA Hovik Abrahamyan who yesterday reaffirmed his resignation is currently in Dubai and will return to Armenia in a week. The paper claims former mayor of Yerevan Gagik Beglaryan is in Dubai too.

The daily Haykakan Zhamanak writes that head of the Yerevan Arabkir administrative region Eduard Musheghyan has filed resignation application. The paper says Musheghyan is close friend of former mayor Karen Karapetyan. The paper says the resignation has been accepted and Mushegyan is no longer head of the region. The paper says Mushegyan’s aide Arsen Makvetsyan urged not to give political context to this resignation. The paper says later in the evening it has learnt that mayor Taron Margaryan appointed his deputy Hrayr Antonyan head of Arabkir administrative region. The paper says Antonyan is Margaryan’s friend.

The daily Hraparak writes that while discussions continue in Yerevan whether who will replace the governor of the Syunik region Suren Khachatryan who physically assaulted business woman Silva Hambardzumyan, the former has started a pre-electoral campaign in the province for the RPA being convinced that in case of success and in case he pleases the authorities he will continue his office. The paper says for instance a free medical assistance campaign launched November 21 in Syunik under the auspices of the RPA.
