The paper says according to some news Barseghyan was dismissed for not reporting a coup. The paper says according to another variant Barseghyan is a “scapegoat” as he had informed about it to Gorik Hakobyan and the latter did not inform Serzh Sargsyan. The paper says spokesman for the NSS Artsvin Baghramyan did not reject the news about dismissal of Barseghyan but learning that the paper wanted to ask question about it sharply said: “The inner staff changes are not subjected to publicizing or commenting”.
The semi-weekly 168 Zham writes that today in the evening the recurrent sitting of the Republican Party of Armenia will take place and as it has learnt the main subject of discussion will be the further tenure in office of governors of Tavush and Syunik provinces Armen Ghularyan and Surik Khachatryan. The paper says it is not excluded that a decision will be made to dismiss the governors from their offices. The paper says in case of Ghularyan the issue of failure of the RPA candidate Varushan Nersisyan at the elections of Ijevan mayor will be discussed. The paper says as to Surik Khachatryan, the reason of dismissal may be beating of businesswoman Silva Hambardzumyan. The paper though says yesterday evening the issue of dismissal of Surik Khachatryan did not seem realistic as Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan stated that it is necessary to wait until the end of the examination of the criminal cases.
