The semi-weekly 168 Zham writes that Foreign Minister of Georgia Grigol Vashadze shrugged off the news that the visit of the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan to Georgia has been annulled. “I have come and we are preparing the visit,” Vashadze stated, adding that the concrete time of the visit will be known later. The paper says that Vashadze met with the President Serzh Sargsyan and discussed issues on the official visit of the Armenian President to Georgia. The paper says according to the minister everything will be done to organize the visit on a proper level. The paper says earlier Georgian deputy foreign minister Davit Jalagania stated that the visit of the RA president was postponed for unknown period.

The daily Hayots Ashkhar writes that according to the director of the “Sociometer” center Aharon Adibekyan all their polls show that the majority of the population has negative attitude toward early elections. “No one needs it, even the ANC,” the paper cited him as saying. The paper writes that the sociologist believes it is a political trick, political bluff. “If the ANC participated in the elections of local self-governmental bodies and won in at least 100 communities out of 900 we would have said bravo guys, people trust you, believe you. They are working in big cities, they do not visit provinces and it is not known yet on what account they are going to gather big amount of voices,” The paper cited Adibekyan as saying.

The daily Haykakan Zhamanak says it asked the RA Labor and Social Affairs Minister Arthur Grigoryan about possibility of his resignation in the row of the ones taking place currently. “What does this question mean? One day I have been appointed in the office, one day I must resign. I do not see any problem here. As to the row of resignations and talks that ministers of Prosperous Armenia must resign I do not have such information,” the paper cited him as saying.
