Founder of the golden era of Hakob Paronyan State Musical Comedy Theatre Svetlana Grigoryan – eighty years old

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 31, ARMENPRESS:

A soiree dedicated to the 80th anniversary of RA people’s artist Svetlana Grigoryan and to the 60th anniversary of her stage activity was held today at Hakob ParonyanStateMusicalComedyTheatre.

Armenian Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan, cultural and public figures, the art-loving society attended the soiree.

Artistic Director of the theater Yervand Ghazanchyan, congratulating the actress on the anniversaries, stressed that today is not only Svetlana Grigoryan’s birthday, but also one of the most notable events of the Armenian theater. “It is an unprecedented phenomenon to be 6 decades on one stage of the same theater,” Mr. Ghazanchyan said, adding that Svetlana Grigoryan has been the founder of the golden era of Hakob ParonyanStateMusicalComedyTheatre.

According to Armenian Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan, today is truly a holiday. She said that first of all the real appraisal of the artist is the full hall, and today’s hall says much. “Today we really worship a true artist, who is loved by everybody,” she said.

“She has always been faithful to the stage, spectator and society,” she said, handing Serzh Sargsyan’s decree, awarding actress Svetlana Grigoryan with 1st degree medal for “services provided to the homeland”.

RA people’s artist Svetlana Grigoryan has been working at Hakob ParonyanStateMusicalComedyTheatre since 1949.
