The daily Azg writes that in response to the questions of deputies about the security of Armenia’s nuclear power plant, the salary issues of the employees of the plant, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan stated yesterday at the National Assembly that the Metsamor Plant was built for 9-magnitude earthquake zone, besides, recently assessments of the “Consult” mission were given which related not only to the seismic security of the plant but to its whole security system: the assessments were quite high. The minister stated that the security level of the plant is under the limelight of not only the government and the President of the country but it is also under the monitoring of corresponding international organizations and during this period there was no issue connected with the plant. The paper says as to the salaries of employees Movsisyan noted that the average amount of their salary is 277 thousand AMD, the maximum is 550 thousand, the minimal is 140-150 thousand which is much more as compared with the employees of other systems. The paper says according to the minister they have come into a common agreement with the employees.
The daily Hayots Ashkhar writes that the leader of the United Labor Party Gurgen Arsenyan told the daily that during the recent years two problems have existed in Armenia – the issue of lonely parties and lonely mothers – but these two issues are solvable. “I consider possible cooperation with any force if the programs of this force correspond to our programs. The problem is that we have obligations in front of our country and it is not important who will do that, the important thing is to do it good,” the paper cited him as saying.
The daily Zhoghovurd writes that according to the information at its disposal the investigative service of the State Revenue Committee returned to the “Armenia’s Electricity Networks” company part of the seized computers. The paper says it has been done not to trouble the natural process of the work of the company. The paper says the information has been confirmed by the press service of the company. The paper says after the search in the company almost all the computers, documents of the company were taken.
