On September 24 at the Armenian Defense Ministry, a session of the ministry-subordinated board was held, during which the educational process in military-educational establishments of Armenian Defense Ministry and foreign countries were discussed.
Armenian Defense Ministry press service told Armenpress that in his speech Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan noted the reforms in the sphere of military education are among the priorities of the Armed Forces. "The biggest misfortunes originate from non-awareness, and the biggest tragedies – from ignorance," the Defense Minister particularly said, noting that the army must take victory not only at the border, but must not fail in inner everyday life as well. "The latest emergency cases let us conclude that we could avoid many faulty phenomena if we had well-bred and well-educated officers. The reforms implemented at the moment in the sphere of RA military education are directed toward relevant training and quality increase of the officers," Seyran Ohanyan noted.
