The daily Haykakan Zhamanak writes that the restoration of the Armenian Nuclear Plant is endangered. The paper says according to the information under its disposal about 158 employees of the ANS engineering-technology department presented resignation applications on September 20. The paper says from September 5 the Metsamor atomic plant is under the planned reconstruction which must last 46 days. The paper says the resigned employees are those without who it is impossible to exploit the plant. The daily reports the employees demand reviewing of their salaries.

The daily also writes that in the tribune at the military parade deputy head of president’s staff Vigen Sargsyan was standing by the Armenian foreign minister Edward Nalbandian. The paper says after the resignation of head of the president’s staff Karen Karapetyan the office has remained vacant. Vigen Sargsyan, the paper says, is acting head of staff but his being in the tribune hints that he will be appointed in Karapetyan’s post.
