The daily Azg writes about the conscript Hovhannes Vardanyan, 20 years old who served 14 months in Askeran military unit and appeared in Nor Nork psychiatric hospital. The daily Azg writes that according to the father of the boy before the service the young man did not have any psychological issues, he was an athlete and wished to serve in the army. The paper says father informed that once he learnt that his son had problems with one of the officers, after a while he phoned to speak with Hovhannes but one of the conscripts said that his son is in psychiatric hospital for already 9 days. The paper says "We will not Keep Silence" youth organization disseminated yesterday a video where it has shot Hovhannes in the psychiatric hospital. The paper says military prosecutor Gevorg Kostanyan has instructed to create a task group to investigate the case. The paper says the conscript has acquired serious psychological problems because of the officers. The paper says if it is proved that the young man had even slightest health issues before the service not only officers must be punished but members of medical commission as well.
The daily Aravot writes that the "raid" against the former head of the road police Margar Ohanyan continues. The paper writes that after disclosing the illegalities in the state structure headed by him and appropriations of big sums, the government has passed to the violations in the personal business of Margar Ohanyan. The paper says it has learnt that recently checking was held in "Angel" taxi service belonging to Ohanyan and it was found out that only 20% of cars of the service were officially registered. The paper says it means that the former head of the road police, hiding the major number of the taxis paid a symbolic amount of taxes to the state budget. The paper says the routes of 39, 22, and 45 mini buses also belong to him. It is expected that soon there will a "raid" on this and other businesses of Ohanyan, the paper says.
