“ReAnimania” animation film festival to launch September 14

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS:

"ReAnimania" third international animation film festival will launch September 14 and will last until September 19. During the festival contest and special programs, premiers, seminars, exhibitions will be conducted.

Director of the festival Vrezh Kassuni said this year they have received more than 320 applications from 40 countries. According to him, like during the previous years this time as well guests from abroad will arrive.

The goal of the "ReAnimania" is to promote the development of animation art, educate new generation of animators and create an opportunity for the Armenian animators to present their works in international arena. Vrezh Kassuni said for the first time in Armenia Anime master class will be conducted by animator Yoshiharum Ashino.

The art director of the festival Lusine Kasarjyan said the films will be shown in Moscow and Naira cinemas, Hovh. Tumanyan Puppet Theatre and "Narekatsi" art union.
