The daily Azg writes that Turkish Interior Ministry has rejected any responsibility connected with the murder of Hrant Dink and refused to pay 100 thousand lyres of compensation to the brothers of Dink – Khosrov Dink and Yervand Dink. The daily says October 27, 2010 Istanbul’s 10th administrative court ruled the ministry to pay this sum as a “compensation for their misdeed”, as having enough grounds connected with the danger threatening the editor the ministry did nothing to protect him and his family. The paper says the ministry applied to the State Council asking to annul the decision, noting that it “is not fair”. The paper says the State Council though rejected the application, but the ministry still refuses to pay the compensation.

The Russian-language semi-weekly Golos Armenii writes that the minister of agriculture Sergo Yeritsyan stated these days that the increase of price for dairy products was agreed with the increase of the quality of the product, high level of fat content. The paper says as to the increase of prices for the sugar, according to the minister, it was to take place earlier as in the international market the prices have gone up. The paper says it is impossible to keep the mouth shut as it is not believable that there is at least one naïve official in the government of Armenia, but Sergo Karapetyan seems to want become so as everything what he thinks and says trying to present arguments for the increase of prices looks childishly naïve. Isn’t it naïve to think that the local producers of dairy products suddenly decided to increase the fat content of their products? Since when do the interests of consumers become priorities for business?

The paper insists that the talks that the increase of prices for sugar is connected with the tendencies in the world markets are just “excuses” and it is testified with other circumstances too. The paper says every time the increase of prices in Armenia is explained with the increase of prices in the world market but unfortunately it has never happened that decrease of world prices have their impact on our market.
