Under the title "They are in Karabakh on non-official visit" refutation consoled Azerbaijan the daily Hayastani Hanrapetutyun writes that it is already several days that Baku is looking forward to an answer from France on the occasion of the "illegal" visit of parliamentarians of that country paid to Nagorno Karabakh. Azerbaijani diplomatic corpus raised noise over the visit of the French parliamentarians. Then there was a calming response by France, and Baku expressed gratification on that occasion: French Ministry of Foreign Affairs published that the parliamentarians' visit is not official.
This reality is encouraging for Baku: yesterday Press Secretary of Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs addressed words of gratitude to Paris, saying that the Azerbaijani Foreign Affairs Ministry welcomes the statement of Press Secretary of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to which the visit of French parliamentarians is not official and does not change the position of he official Paris. Actually they were sure in Baku that the visit of French parliamentarians was official, or perhaps were afraid that it was so.
Baku has already started being consoled by the fact that the visits are "non-official, or else facts become "more dangerous": according to the latest data, the number of the tourists visiting Karabakh this year has grown by 30%. And the 5379 out of 7924 interested in Artsakh are not from Armenia.
By the way, foreign visitors very often ask not to register them to avoid additional headache... or else Baku itself will register those people in well-known "black list", where the French parliamentarians who paid "non-official" visit have once appeared.
Under the title "Underestimated Armenia" the daily168 Zham writes that in the sphere of tourism Armenia has appeared in the list of "The most underestimated directions of the world". The daily cites "Wise Travel", which writes that few travelers think of visiting the Caucasus, including Armenia and Georgia, which are rich in mountainous picturesque places and architectural works. "Both countries have tried to keep the unique "spirit" during their log history, though the territories have been conquered by Romans, Mongols, Persians and Turks in different periods of times. Armenian and Georgian people gained reputation by their hospitability. Despite numerous historical and political tensions, foreigners will always feel security here," the Wise Travel writes.
