Under the title Genocide denier arrested in Turkey the daily Azg writes that Istanbul University historian-researcher Mehmed Perincheq has been arrested August 21 in Turkey. The paper says according to Azerbaijani mass media, other 8 people have been arrested with the charge of dealing with “Ergenekon”. The paper claims that it is not difficult to clear up why the arrest of Turkish historian has raised so much interest in Azerbaijan and especially in “Jewish sponsored” Vesti.az. The matter is that Perincheq is the author of “Armenian issue and 120 documents from Russian archive” work, where “it is proved that Armenians’ claims are false just by the proof of Russian archive materials”. Actually Perincheq is the only scientist who has managed to make a conclusion on the basis of Russian archive, which has unanimously condemned the Armenian Genocide that “there was no Armenian Genocide”. On the occasion of the arrest representative of Labor Party Nusret Senem issued a statement, saying that “Perinchek was arrested as he was an obstacle for the government, wishing to improve the relations with Armenia. The paper says Senem writes: “Erdogan’s government has become the slave of the USA, and the later uses it for reaching favorable situation in the Middle East. Erdogan is ready to do everything Washington says. But the goal of the USA is to destroy our country but we will not allow anyone to do it”.
