Vladimir Hakobyan Not to Partake in World Chess Cup 2011

YEREVAN, AUGUST 22, ARMENPRESS: GM Vladimir Hakobyan will not partake in the World Cup 2011 to kick off August 28 in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia.

Armenpress was reported at the Chess Federation of Armenia that GMs Sergey Movsisyan and Arman Pashikyan will represent Armenia in the World Cup 2011.

Vladimir Hakobyan injured his leg several days ago in the result of stumbling. After undergoing an operation the chess player was advised not to travel for several weeks.
