The daily Haykakan Zhamanak writes about the first meeting of the delegations of the opposition and coalition that lasted for two hours and passed behind the closed doors. After the meeting the head of the delegation representing coalition, Davit Harutyunyan, said that they have exchanged thoughts and added that soon they will be able to assess whether this process has continuation or not. "But I must note that our task group is optimistic in this respect", the paper cited him as saying. The paper says that Harutyunyan expressed readiness to discuss any issue with the opposition, without any limitations.

The daily Aravot writes that the co-rapporteurs of the PACE Monitoring Committee John Prescott and Axel Fischer will be in Armenia July 19-21. "In Yerevan they will discuss the improvement of political environment, as well as electoral reforms and preparations for 2012 elections", the paper reported.

The daily Haykakan Zhamanak also writes that the son of the Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, serviceman Arthur Ohanyan has been transported to the Yerevan military hospital. The paper says July 15 the bus transporting him and other 15 servicemen fell into a gorge on the Stepanakert-Vank-Drmbon. The paper says all fifteen received injuries, three of them were transported to Yerevan, including minister's son, the others to NKR military hospital. The paper reports that condition of minister's son is medium grave. Speaking to the daily the young man said he feels good.
