The daily Haykakan Zhamanak claims it has leant that Russia has raised the tariff for gas supplied to Armenia and now it is selling its gas to Armenia by 210 USD for 1000 cubic meters instead of former 180 USD. The paper says the information was not officially confirmed. The spokeswoman of the "ArmRusGasProm" company Shushan Sardaryan said as far as she knows no changes in the gas tariff has taken place. The paper claims it has learnt that the gas tariff for consumers will not change.

Haykakan Zhamanak also writes that at the Homeland-Diaspora conference that will take place in September in Yerevan concrete information will be published over the works that were carried out for the creation of two-chamber parliament.
