The daily Hayots Ashkhar writes that the Batumi court found guilty 9 people accused of spying in favor of Russia. The paper says two of the convicts are Armenians director of "Sayboard" company Armen Gevorgyan and his deputy Ruben Shikoyan. The paper says the court sentenced them 11-14 years imprisonment.
The daily Haykakan Zhamanak writes that according to the information it has during the recent period President Serzh Sargsyan is very concerned with the developments over the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. The paper says after Kazan the activation of super powers has not reduced but doubled. Particularly the paper says the US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton phoned yesterday evening Serzh Sargsyan and discussed with him the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process. The paper says at the same time Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov was yesterday in Yerevan on a short visit and was said to bring the message of the Russian president over the settlement of the NK conflict.
The Secretary of the National Security Council, leader of the Rule of Law party Arthur Baghdasaryan told in an interview to Aravot said that there is no revolutionary situation in the republic "we have issues and we all see them. And if we do not speak about the issues it will not mean that these issues do not exist. People are waiting for the solution of the issues and we are working in that direction. And if the opposition voices these issues we must welcome it especially if it is being done without extremism and radical moods".
