The daily Azg writes that Turkish "Milliyet" reported that every year April 24 will be marked at the Israeli Knesset. According to the Turkish paper, the speaker of the Knesset Rivlin received the Armenian delegation and said that "as a Jewish and Israeli I consider my debt the recognition of the tragedies of other people. In spite of the diplomatic concerns it does not give us right to renounce the tragedy of other peoples". The Armenian daily writes at the end Rivlin said that every year the Knesset will commemorate the victims of the Armenian Genocide. By the way during these days distinguished genocide scientist Israel Charny stated in Yerevan that Israel commits mistake by refusing to recognize the Armenian Genocide.
Under the title the Real Growth Twice Less the semi-weekly 168 Zham writes that the National Statistical Service 10 days ago said the economic activity index of April 2011 as compared with the same span of the past year made 107.7%. The paper says while some are enthusiastically speaking about the "vision" of return to the double digit growth, the NSS published the more "open" variant of the indexes, from which it becomes clear that the economic growth during January-April makes 3.7%. The paper writes that this index may be found in the report published by the NSS on the eve using for calculation the so-called chain indexes. The paper says by the way this year's state budget intends 4.6% economic growth.
The daily Haykakan Zhamanak writes that it has learnt that the head of the Finance Ministry's Financial Oversight Inspection Sona Darbinyan has refused the proposal to replace Karine Kirakosyan, former head of the Government-affiliated State Property Management Department who has been dismissed last week "in accordance to her resignation application".
