The daily Azg writes about the discussion of the offer of the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on declaring amnesty at the National Assembly. The paper says justice minister Hrayr Tovmasyan said the amnesty will spread on 396 arrestees and on 379 partially. The paper says 195 convicts may be fully released in case of compensating the harm to the sufferers. The paper says Hrayr Tovmasyan did not directly answer whether the amnesty will spread on all the convicts connected with March 1 2008 unrest. The paper says Hrayr Tovmasyan did not notice that the beginning of his speech had a political color. He was saying that the time has come to perceive that not self-denying publics are living here but one nation. "I would like that the amnesty offered by the president be viewed not only as expression of kind will but the assurance of perception of responsibility as a will to make radical changes in the internal life of the country", the paper cited him as saying.

The daily Hayots Ashkhar writes that the talks over the new developments in the Karabakh peace talks are reflected not only by the moods of the direct participants of the negotiations but with the concern of the mediator countries from the possibility of resuming of war.

The paper says that the Azerbaijani side is masterly using it trying to seize concessions from Armenia through blackmailing with war. It is obvious that the coming June 25 meeting of the presidents of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan will become the top of military-political blackmailing of Azerbaijan for the next four weeks. The paper says it is necessary to think from today how to combat the threats of the enemy as during the recent days the Azerbaijani side managed to engage CSTO members in theoretical discussions showing the controversies of the latter over the Karabakh issue.
