The daily Haykakan Zhamanak writes that in the first four months of the running year the number of passengers that departed from the Armenian "Zvartnots" and "Shirak" airports is with 45 000 more than those who arrived. That is to say at least 45 000 people left Armenia in four months. The paper says the mentioned number is taken from the statistics of the RA Chief Civil Aviation Department. The paper says these 45 000 does not include those who left on cars and buses.
The daily Aravot writes that in an interview to Mediamax news agency former president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan referring to the 2008 March 1 cases presented them as it was convenient to him. According to him, the general picture of March 1 events is quite simple: "their essence is the following: the defeated candidate announced that he is the elected president and is going to seize the President's Chamber". The reality though is quite other, the paper continues, saying that in his speech during rallies Levon Ter-Petrosyan never spoke about seizing the President's Chamber. Just the opposite he said the following "We are not going to reach it through breaking gates, forget it".
The daily Hayots Ashkhar writes that vice president of the Armenian Republican Party Galust Sahakyan stated that the Armenian National Congress is gradually entering the political field, adding that they see its necessity. "The more stable the political field will be, the more stable developments we will have and it will be possible to solve the social issues with joint efforts", the paper cited him as saying.
