The daily Azg writes that Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite paid a response visit to Azerbaijan, before it Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovich was in Baku. According to the procedure, in such cases the presidents are giving press conferences and in both cases the Nagorno Karabakh issue was not bypassed.
But after the meeting with the Ukrainian President Ilham Aliyev was speaking less than usual and Yanukovich was silent in the NK issue. Instead of him the "Ukrainian viewpoint is that Nagorno Karabakh conflict must be settled within the framework of international norms and Azerbaijani territorial integrity" was voiced by the Azeri president. The paper says in case of Dalia Grybauskaite , Ilham Aliyev found it purposeful to read "the brief lesson of the NK issue's history and settlement" which was compiled and edited and passed to generations by "all-national leader" Heydar Aliyev as this year Lithuania is the OSCE chairing country.
