Technical-Economic Cooperation between Armenia and China

YEREVAN, APRIL 7, ARMENPRESS: The RA Government approved at today’s session the proposal on signing of the agreement “On Technical-Economic Cooperation between the Governments of the Republic of Armenia and People’s Republic of China”.

Since 1999, each year the Chinese Government has been providing gratuitous aid to the Government of Armenia. In the recent years the volume of the gratuities aid by the Chinese Government has increased.

According to Shavarsh Kocharyan, RA deputy foreign minister, up to now the technical-economic cooperation between the two states has been successful and various programs, mainly in the agricultural sphere, have been implemented.

Shavarsh Kocharyan added that the agreement to be signed during the April 12, 2011 visit by Li Changchun, member of the standing committee of the Chinese Communist Party central committee civil bureau, intends provision of gratuitous aid, that makes over 3 million 200 thousand USD.
