The biggest flaw in schools is in document circulation

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 14, ARMENPRESS: The biggest flaw in the schools of the republic is in document circulation.

Deputy Head of the National Inspectorate of Education Raisa Galstyan told Armenpress that the monitoring, studies and revisions implemented by the inspectorate prove that, and its reason is that deep revisions have not been conducted in educational sphere for many years.

“Till 4-5 years ago, before the establishment of the inspectorate, the studies were conducted by inspectoral departments of the Ministry and governor offices. They were local, thematic studies,” Mrs. Galstyan said, adding that as a result of their four-year work the school management of educational establishments has become more regulated, some violations have been reduced. According to the deputy head of the inspectorate, the main noticeable flaw still concerns the organization of the entrance of learners and their transfer.

The Deputy Head o the inspectorate also said that this year they intend to implement thematic revisions and studies in secondary and pre-school educational establishments, insenior age groups of pre-school educational establishments and other functions.

As a result of the revisions and studies of the inspectorate, a control will be taken over fulfillment of the compulsory commitments assigned to directors of educational establsihments.
