Claudio Bisogniero: The progress in NATO-Armenia relations will be of continuous nature

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS: On December 3, Head of the Armenian mission to NATO Samvel Mkrtchyan met with NATO Deputy Secretary General Claudio Bisogniero. Press service of the Armenian Foreign Affairs Ministry told Armenpress that at the beginning of the meeting Samvel Mkrtchyan informed about completion of his diplomatic mission and expressed gratitude for efficient cooperation. The Deputy Secretary General expressed gratification on the considerable progress of relations between the organization and Armenia and noted that it will be of continues nature.

The interlocutors discussed the results of the summit in Lisbon, about the decisions adopted, as well as about prospects of implementation of gained agreements and further expansion of NATO-Russia relations. In regard to Afghanistan activity, Claudio Bisogniero welcomed the decision of the Armenian leadership to double the number of the servicemen participating in the activities. Samvel Mkrtchyan presented the developments over regulation of the Artsakh issue registered in the OSCE summit in Astana.
