Marina Stepanyan Says Karo Mkrtchyan’s Art Full of Emotions

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS: Painter Karo Mkrtchyan’s posthumous personal exhibition opened today at ‘ART-MANE’ fine arts and antiques hall of the Painters Union of Armenia. The painter’s works on theatre were presented at the exhibition. Marina Stepanyan, art curator, told Armenpress that Karo Mkrtchyan has a unique image as a painter. ‘His favorite theme was journey. This theme is not widely used in the Armenian painting, and it is amazing how the painter managed to percept the essence of the theme so deeply. His painting is full of emotions.

No any work is done carelessly. Even his unfinished works are full of emotions,’ Marina Stepanyan said. Since 1967 the creations of Karo Mkrtchyan have been exhibited in Armenia, Russia, Germany, France, Spain, Great Britain, US, Canada, Japan, India, Australia, etc.
