Director of the film series on scientific line, affiliate member of the RA National Academy of Sciences, Doctor, Professor Babken Harutyunyan highly assessed the film, considering it a return step to the Azerbaijani propaganda machine.

“We must present to the international community the true history,” Mr. Harutyunyan said. Professor of Venice University Levon Zekeyan, who presents in the film the attitude of the Diaspora-Armenians toward Tigranakert, noted that it is great misfortune that the political issues are reflected on Armenian historical monuments, which are ruined very often. “Tigranakert is a powerful and rich city, which responds to our steps with love. The results of the excavations of the city provide today numerous facts to the Armenian history. We want to present Tigranakert to the whole world,” Mr. Petrosyan said. “Returning City: Tigranakert” will be translated in English, French and Russian, the German and Turkish versions are intended as well.
