Sona Shahgeldyan intends to make way to international area

YEREVAN, AUGUST 10, ARMENPRESS: Sona Shahgeldyan, the winner of “New Wave-2010” international contest held in Latvian town of Yurmala, intends to make way to international area. At today’s meeting with journalists the singer noted that in September-October she will come forward with a number of concerts abroad, as well as will pass master classes in Latvia and will give a solo concert in Yerevan till November.

“I like fighting and do not avoid international contests. I was very sincere and brave on the stage,” S. Shahgeldyan said noting that she is very proud for the victory. “I differ from the others by my voice,” Sona said stressing that she sings already for 10 years. “In the song of “Armenian World” I showed the colors of my country,” the singer said adding that she needed 15 days to get prepared for the contest.

Sona Shahgeldyan expressed gratitude to the Armenian community, which supported her. By the part of the money won in the contest the singer will help the children who are ill or dwell in children houses.
