Davitashen Bridge Needs Repair

YEREVAN, JUNE 23, ARMENPRESS: Davitashen Bridge needs repair. Public Relations Department of the Yerevan municipality told Armenpress that as a result of professional studies, the technical state of the bridge has not been assessed as accident-risky. The bridge only needs a running repair. The planning-estimate documents on repair have been formed still in 2009. The metal structures of Davitashen Bridge are placed already for more than 20 years, and the repair is conditioned by the necessity of updating them.

In addition to other 26 bridges of Yerevan, currently Davitashen Bridge is served by a specialized organization by every-day regime. And the intended repair is an ordinary work, which is carried out in case of all the bridge structures in the course of time.

The repair works of Davitashen Bridge are involved in the capitals’ urban renovation programs of 2011, which are funded and implemented by means of the Yerevan community budget, fixed by the Yerevan Council of Elders.
