T. Erdogan, “The U.S. Jewish lobby has stood up for the Armenian resolution”

ANKARA, MARCH 10, ARMENPRESS: Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that the Res. 252 on recognition of the Armenian Genocide has also been adopted in United States House Committee on Foreign Affairs thanks to the Jewish lobby.

Armenpress reports citing the Turkish mass media that on March 9 in the Saudi Arabia Erdogan told journalists the U.S. Jewish lobby has stood up for that resolution.

Chairman of the United States House Committee on Foreign Affairs, one of the leaders of the U.S. Jewish Diaspora Howard Berman has played a great role in the adoption of the Armenian resolution, the Turkish mass media noted.

The U.S. Jewish lobby has stood up for Turkey for many years in not letting the recognition of the Armenian genocide by the USA, but this year the situation has abruptly changed.
