The speaker of the NA of the NKR receives the delegation of the National Assembly of Armenia

STEPANAKERT, MARCH 2, ARMENPRESS: Speaker of the National Assembly of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Ashot Ghulyan received on March 1 the delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, which arrived in Stepanakert for participating in the joint session of the Armenia-Artsakh inter-parliamentary cooperation commission.

Press service of the NKR NA told Armenpress that the delegation comprised of Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Healthcare, Maternity and Childhood Issues Ara Babloyan, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Social Affairs Hakob Hakobyan, chairman of the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Affairs Artak Davtyan, members of the committees and experts.

Welcoming the legislative authorities arrived from Yerevan and people accompanying them, speaker of the NKR National Assembly noted that the cooperation of the two Armenian parliaments, by growing year by year, is gradually developing new traditions, among which is, particularly, the joint sessions of sphere committees. According to him, the agenda issues of the session, which concern the profits of almost all the classes of the republic, make an integral legislative package and are singled out by their significance and urgency.

In their turn the chairmen of the sphere committees of the Armenian National Assembly pointed out the necessity of continuing similar sessions in future as well in favor of the efficiency of the cooperation of the two parliaments.

Chairman of the NKR NA Standing Committee on Social Affairs Arpat Avanesyan, Deputy Chairwoman of the same committee Zoya Lazaryan and representative of the NKR NA in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Karen Topchyan were present at the meeting.
