Azerbaijani wrestlers will not arrive in Yerevan

YEREVAN, FEBRUAURY 1, ARMENPRESS: Azerbaijani Wrestling Federation officially informed FILA (the International Wrestling Federation) that the wrestlers of Azerbaijan will not participate in Greco-Roman style wrestling World Cup Tournaments taking place in Yerevan from February 12 to 14.

It’s motivated by the fact that the Azerbaijani wrestlers are busy with getting prepared for the European Tournaments in Baku. An Official from RA Wrestling Federation informed Armenpress that 8 countries having registered their participation in the World Cup Tournaments will arrive in Yerevan. The teams of Denmark, Sweden or Uzbekistan will participate in the tournaments instead of the Azerbaijani team.
