YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 14, ARMENPRESS:Presentation of a book telling about resettlement of territories that went
under the control of Armenian troops of Nagorno Karabagh in early 90-s, was
held today at Writers Union. The author, Bakoor Karapetian, a native of
Nagorno Karabagh, traveled across the liberated territories for several
years witnessing construction of new schools, hospitals and other
facilities, meeting with people who decided to settle down on this soil
facing initially hundreds of problems.
The book called Dialogue on the Road to Karavachar, the old Armenian name
of Lachin, features ordinary people who moving there have made their
contributions to the reinforcing Armenia’s and Karabagh security. “People
here say the soil on which blood was shed must never be abandoned,”
Bakurian said.
