GEORGIAN SWIMMER TO SWIM THROUGH THE DARDANELLES WITH HANDS AND LEGS TIED

TBILISI, AUGUST 15, ARMENPRESS:A Georgian historian Henri Kuprashvili is making plans to swim across the Dardanelles with his hands and legs tied. Kuprashvili tried this kind of swimming in a Tbilisi swimming pool, Georgian Prime News agency reported. On January 28 he swam 2 kilometers for 92 minutes with hands and legs tied and this was recorded in the Book of Guineas. The narrowest width of the strait is 1.3 kilometers and the broadest is 27 kilometers. A Georgian film director George Chubabria is shooting a film about how Kuprashivili will be swimming across the Dardanelles.-0-/39/
