PRESIDENT OF GEORGIA VISITS TSITSERNAKABERD

YEREVAN, JUNE 25, ARMENPRESS:President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili, together with his spouse, visited today Tsitsernakaberd and put a wreath on the memorial to the victims of the Armenian Genocide. The Georgian president was accompanied with the Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan, Yerevan mayor Kamo Areyan and other officials. In the memory alley the Georgian president watered the tree planted in 2004 on behalf of Georgian people. Afterwards M. Saakashvili was hosted in Yerevan State University where he met with its students and professor staff.
