Alen Simonyan and Gert Jan Koopman stress importance of continued development of Armenia–EU relations

Secretary of Armenia’s Security Council Alen Simonyan received a delegation led by Gert Jan Koopman, Director-General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood at the European Commission, on 26 October.
According to the Security Council’s Office, the two sides stressed the importance of the continued development of Armenia–European Union relations, paying particular attention to Armenia’s economic diversification and strengthening its resilience.
They also discussed progress on democratic reforms and other regional issues of interest.
