Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan has commented on the agreement establishing sister-city relations between Yerevan and Bishkek.
In a Facebook post, Avinyan said that Yerevan and Bishkek had become sister cities.
“During the visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, to Yerevan, we signed an agreement establishing sister-city relations between the two cities.
“It opens up new opportunities for cooperation in urban governance, transport, environmental protection, culture, sport, healthcare and social protection,” the Yerevan mayor wrote.
