Sargis Khandanyan welcomes Algerian Council of the Nation Speaker Azzouz Nasri at Zvartnots Airport

Azzouz Nasri, Speaker of the Council of the Nation of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, has arrived in Armenia for the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17).
The Armenian National Assembly’s Public Relations and Communication Department announced his arrival in a statement.
“The senior guest was welcomed at Zvartnots Airport by Sargis Khandanyan, Chair of the Armenian National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Foreign Relations. Yerevan is hosting COP17, bringing together delegations from countries around the world and representatives of international organisations and civil society to assess progress in biodiversity conservation and discuss further joint action,” the statement said.
