Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Turkmenistan, where both leaders are visiting for the CIS summit, to be held in the city of Turkmenbashi.
PM Pashinyan and President Mirziyoyev discussed issues related to Armenia-Uzbekistan relations and their further development, according to a readout from the Prime Minister’s Office.
The development and expansion of trade and economic ties was emphasized.
They exchanged views on regional processes. Both sides highlighted the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the promotion of regional cooperation.
